Zellen unseres Körpers, eine Art Selbstverdauung. Eine Fehl-
funktion dieses Prozesses ist vor allem für Zellen des Gehirns
fatal und kann zu neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen wie
Alzheimer und Parkinson beitragen. Die molekularen Grund-
lagen der Selbstverdauung in zellulären Systemen erforscht
die Arbeitsgruppe „Molekulare Neurobiologie/Neurochemie“.
Regular "waste disposal" in the cells of our bodies is

self-digestive mechanism. A malfunction in this process
is particularly lethal for the cells of the brain and can
contribute to the onset of neurodegenerative diseases
