Prof.Dr.Heinke Röbken, bisher Professorin
für Bildungs- und Erziehungswissenschaf-
ten an der Universität Wuppertal, hat
den Ruf auf die Professur für „Bildungs-
management“ am Institut für Pädagogik
angenommen. Röbken studierte Wirt-
schaftswissenschaften und Wirtschaft-
spädagogik an der Universität Oldenburg
und der California State University (USA).
Anschließend absolvierte sie die Master-Programme„Organi-
zational Behaviour“ an der Växjö University (Schweden) und
„European Human Resource Management“ an der Universität
Hamburg. 2001 bis 2004 promovierte Röbken in Oldenburg
und arbeitete zugleich als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin
am Lehrstuhl für Personal und Internationales Management
an der Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg. Es folgten
Gast- und Forschungsaufenthalte an zahlreichen Universi-
täten. Von 2004 bis 2008 war Röbken als Juniorprofessorin
für Bildungsmanagement an der Universität Oldenburg tätig.
Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im Bereich Bildungsma-
nagement und -organisation.
Prof. Dr. Heinke Röbken, previously Professor of Educational
Sciences at the University of Wuppertal, has accepted the
chair of "Education Management" at the Institute of Peda-
gogics. Professor Röbken studied economics and business
education at the University of Oldenburg and California State
University (USA). She completed the graduate programmes
"Organizational Behaviour" at the Växjö University (Sweden)
and "European Human Resource Management" at the Uni-
versity of Hamburg. From 2001 to 2004 she did her PhD at
Oldenburg and worked at the same time as a research fellow
at the chair of Personnel and International Management at
the Helmut Schmidt University. Research work at a number
of universities followed. From 2004 to 2008 Professor Röbken
was Junior Professor of Education Management at the Univer-
sity of Oldenburg. Her research activities focus on education
management and organisation.
Prof. Dr. Britta Gebhard, bisher Wissen-
schaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Univer-
sität Dortmund, ist neue Juniorprofes-
sorin für „Pädagogik und Didaktik bei
chronischen und progredienten Erkran-
kungen sowie körperlichen und moto-
rischen Beeinträchtigungen“. Gebhard
studierte Sondererziehung und Rehabili-
tation an der Universität Dortmund und
absolvierte parallel den European Master in Adapted Physical
Activity an der Universität Leuven (Belgien).DemMasterstudi-
um folgte 2009 die Promotion an der Universität Dortmund.
Bereits seit 2004 hatte Gebhard dort alsWissenschaftliche Mit-
arbeiterin an der Fakultät für Rehabilitationswissenschaften
gearbeitet.Darüber hinaus war sie als Lehrerin in der Erwach-
senenbildung und als Bewegungstherapeutin tätig. Ihre For-
schungsschwerpunkte liegen in der bewegungsorientierten
Förderung chronisch und progredient erkrankter Menschen,

der Evaluation bewegungsorientierter Förderkonzepte für
körperlich und motorisch beeinträchtigte Kinder und in der
psychomotorischen Förderung.
Prof. Dr. Britta Gebhard, previously research fellow at the
University of Dortmund, is the new Junior Professor for "Pe-
dagogics and Didactics for Chronic and Progressive Diseases
as well as Physical and Motoric Impairments". Dr. Gebhard
studied special needs education and rehabilitation at the
University of Dortmund while at the same time completing
her European Master in Adapted Physical Activity at the
University of Leuven (Belgium). After obtaining her master's
degree she earned her PhD at the University of Dortmund.Dr.
Gebhard had previously worked as a research assistant at the
university's Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences. She also taught
in the area of adult education and worked as a movement
therapist. Her research focuses on the movement-oriented
support of people with chronic and progressive diseases,
the evaluation of movement-oriented support concepts for
children with physical and motoric impairments and psycho-
motoric support.
Prof. Dr. Jannika Mattes, bisher Wis-
senschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Jean
Monnet Chair for European Studies am
Institut für Soziologie, ist zur Juniorpro-
fessorin für die„Soziologie europäischer
Gesellschaften“ ernannt worden. Mattes
studierte Europäische Wirtschaft an den
Universitäten Bamberg und Granada
(Spanien). Im Anschluss arbeitete sie als
Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin zunächst in Bamberg und ab
2007 in Oldenburg. Forschungsaufenthalte führten sie nach
London (Großbritannien) und Uppsala (Schweden). 2010
schloss Mattes ihre Dissertation ab, die mit demWeser-Ems-
Wissenschaftspreis für herausragende Abschlussarbeiten
ausgezeichnet wurde. Zu ihren Forschungsschwerpunkten
gehören Innovationsforschung, Organisationssoziologie und
Regionalwissenschaften aus europäischer und internationa-
ler Perspektive.
Prof. Dr. Jannika Mattes, until recently a research fellow at the
Jean Monnet Chair for European Studies in Social Sciences
at the University of Oldenburg, has been appointed Junior
Professor for the "Sociology of European Societies". She stu-
died European economics at the Universities of Bamberg and
Granada (Spain) then went on to work as a research fellow
first in Bamberg and from 2007 in Oldenburg. Research visits
took her to London and Uppsala (Sweden). In 2010 she com-
pleted her dissertation, which won theWeser-Ems Academic
Prize (Weser-Ems-Wissenschaftspreis) for outstanding final
papers. The main focuses of her research include innovation
research, organisational sociology and regional sciences from
a European and international perspective.
